Queen Victoria is the most famous carrier of the British monarch crown and it is during her sway that many changes that do modern day Britain took place. The Queen was born in 1819 as Alexandrina Victoria (Hibbert 368). The name was adopted from her Russian god capture as hygienic as her British roots. The future queen lost her father when she was eight months of succession, after which she is said to have taken to an Irish officer who influenced much of her life. The young Victoria was not raise in the regal nature that other members of the crown were brocaded in but, instead she was brought up in a smell out of moderation. This upbringing is credited to having a great influence in the way she ruled.

The queen ascended into former at the tender age of eighteen years. This was upon the death of her then reining uncle, George IV (Rappaport 31). Her accession was because each her other uncles had no surviving heirs who would take over the thrown. The population of the kingdom loved her from the onset. This was due to an act of compassion that she showed during her crowning.

She also presided during a period where various legislations were passed that gave more power to the majority of citizens.
