Five of the common psychiatrical disorders be schizophrenic psychosis, depression, mania, anxiety, and Tourette syndrome. The positives symptoms are delusions, hallucinations, inappropriate affect, incoherent spoken communication or thought, and odd behavior. The negative symptoms are affective flattening, alogia, avolition, and anhedonia.



A diagnosis of schizophrenia can be made afterwards the recurrence of any two symptoms for one month or one symptom if a delusion is particularly erratic or a hallucination that includes voices.
Schizophrenia does seem to be genetically inherited.
