(8.2.4) I also discussed with the client the BACPS good sample of practice, regarding the role of supervision, in order to maintain competent practice. I explained that this was space for him to talk about anything he wished, should he subside to pursue counselling.
I would hope he would experience this as a collaborative relationship, as well as transferral that he had a choice whether or not he attended.
