The Earths physical features are what discover our daily lives and how we live them. But its what people take int see that affects them the most, the atmosphere. This is the gaseous mass or windbag surrounding a aery body, and retained by the celestial bodys gravitational field. Its an invisible shield that protects us from some harmful things and keeps our planet in balance.
Our atmosphere is about three hundred miles thick and is made up of many gaseous chemicals: 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.9% argon, 0.03% carbon dioxide, and trace amounts of other gases. There is no actual place where the atmosphere ends in space, it just easy gets thinner the farther you travel away from Earth.
