My favorite film
My favorite film would convey to be the 1986 sci-fi masterpiece Aliens, directed by James Cameron. The study actors of the film be Sigourney Weaver, who plays the heroin Lt. Ellen Ripley; Michael Biehn, who plays Corporal Hicks; Bill Paxton, who plays clandestine Hudson; and Lance Henriken, who plays Bishop. In this sequel to Alien, Ripley returns as the only survivor of the deep space salvage cabal the Nostromo. Ripley awakens from an extremely longsighted cryo sleep to discover that the planet LV-426, the same planet that Ripley and her crew were sent to salvage an alien shipwreck, has been inhabited by a colony of miners. Ripleys accounts of her horrific events were met with skepticism until all communications from the colonists were lost. A group of high-tech colonial marines led by Ripley are sent to investigate the disappearances, only to find forth they have set foot into the Hive of the ravenous Aliens.
The Marines are met with a match that they have never faced before, as they try to make an escape with the survivors of the colony. This was one of the first aversion sci-fi films I watched as a youth. The tickle pink and suspense of the film, the uncut and tough demeanors of the Marines, and the elegance and ferocity of the Aliens have left me reflection it over and over again. I have always highly recommended this film to friends and family who are in search for a sci-fi thrill ride of action and horror. For these reasons, it has become my number one movie.
