The novel The Scarlet Letter introduces four main characters, Hester Prynne, Arthur Dimmesdale, Pearl, and Chillingworth. Throughout the chapters one to twelve, the characters became much more interesting. The come abouting are the closer look at distri notwithstandingively of those characters.

1. Hester Prynne: A young woman sent to the colonies by her husband, who say to meet her later except got lost at sea. Hester is a symbol of the acknowledged sinner, one who always disobeys the laws or promises and interestingly she finds the way to get over it. Talking astir(predicate) the Hesters character itself, she seems very strong minded individual. However the association didnt have a good impression about Hester. For example in chapter 2, the members in that puritan society were truism that she can cover her marks on her skin but not in her heart. And in addition claiming that she brought shame to everyone in that society. However, Hester didnt seem scared about going into prison but was very lonely. In chapter 3, the conversation with Mr. Chillingworth was very interesting. Because at this smear the readers have a question why didnt she urgency to name the person who was her sexual partner?



So cold from the reading we understand that she was married to Chillingworth and similarly had an affair with Dimmesdale. Towards the revoke of chapter 12, we can see that Hester is experiencing many spiritual as wholesome as some moral issues. In many instances, she did follow her parents as loving guides. The difficult times that Hester went through also lead her to be a freethinker. Later on in the chapters she became very understanding and compassionated character. Not only had she changed herself but also to the whole community. She started to give more respect to society, care for distressing and needy.
