Death is an interesting topic to figure out or talk closely. Many people claim that they dont fear it alone they al looks specify how they go and never thing about what they leave behind. When someone is diagnosed with an illness and has a limited cadence to live they go through stages the 5 stages; denial, anger, bargaining, depressing and in the end acceptance, once the final stage has been reached then the stopping point near influencem disconnected from others. This disconnection can anger their family members because the dying doesnt seem to make logical decisions. In A Long Migration by Dr. Vincent Lam (in the book: Bloodletting and improbable Cures) the grandfather of Dr. Chen is dying of kidney failure, but he refuses to go to the hospital after being initially diagnosed. Chens grandfather knows he is going to die and because of that he refuses to be admitted to a hospital. So why is it that people choose to do this? Well if you were to put yourself in their position its easy to see why; if you were dying but nonoperational in were still in you physical shape as you were before, would you want to be stuck in a bed all day waiting for love ones to come and sit by you and comfort you and for death to come? Or would you want to be out and enjoying the days of life you still have?



The answers obvious however the loved ones leave behind not agree with this; now put yourself in their position, even is there is a 1/100 pitch that the one you love will live, you wont give up and nip them into staying at the hospital so they have would have the outdo chance they can have. Ultimately the dying will gain and will spend their days out and enjoying life, its only when the affection takes hold that they return to the hospital and pass away comfortably.
