Horace Irving Manley Jr. was natural on May 9, 1955 in Virginia to the late Horace Irving Manley Sr. and Surella Manley Spry.
Horace Jr. was a graduate of Dickinson High School and Jersey City State College both of Jersey City, New Jersey. He free lanced as a photographer for Channel 7 and Channel 13 while in the North. He later relocated to Texas where he worked for Essences Magazine and J. C. Penny Company preparing their catalogs. He later formed his own business call HIM Productions. He also worked for the Potters House and Oak Cliff Bible association both in Dallas, Texas.
Horace Jr. was known for his singing, running track, shell the drums and for his photography.
He was a member of the Echoes of Harmony of Jersey City for many years and also the Gospel Travelers of Franklin Virginia, The Manley Singers and The Family Connection Singers. He also ran track for Jersey City State College and nucleus and Soul Track team. He will be remembered for his raging sense of humor and for calling family members at any time, whether it was early(a) mornings or late at night.
Horace Jr. was united in holy matrimony to Marilyn Lawrence on September 26, 1981. To this union was born twain handsome sons, Horace Irving Manley III and Adam Lawrence Manley.
Horace Jr. was a member of Emanuel Penicostal Church while in New Jersey. He later joined Oak Cliff Bible crime syndicate in Dallas Texas where Dr. Tony Evans is Pastor.
