Bastille Day is a national, typic, diachronic French holiday and is celebrated every July 14th. By celebrating Bastille day, similarly known as La fete de la Bastille, French citizens remember the storming of the Bastille prison which marked the first major solution of the French Revolution. The Bastille was not just a prison, it was a symbolic figure of the absolute monarchy regime. By capturing Bastille, the French citizens stated that the great actors power was no longer absolute, they stated that power should be based on its people.
