Alone on the Wall

Alone on the Wall Alex to me was very different than the rest of the some other people we have watched in other documentaries. He isnt searching for some deeper happiness or a frisson that cannot be achieved living a normal daily seam life. I like Alex because hes smart. The motivation so-and-so what he does comes off differently than everyone else. He does it because he loves it and he thinks its fun. Thats it. The think that stood out to me the most was that he didnt get a rush from climbing. The reason that he likes to climb is for the pure love of it and unlike the others that we have seen, he wont stop because he cant climb anymore, hell just lose the love of it. He also seemed a lot more sensible than I imagined a solo climber would be. Then again, I aspect like the mind of a solo climber has to be more levelheaded and more in tact than most. He has immense amounts of physical and mental strength. To remain calm in such challenging and frightening situations is a must and he does it with such ease.

It wasnt as if he was born to climb, be a scrawny little kid and morphing into this muscular and well-nigh hulk like in strength man, is an amazing achievement that he achieves. It was also interesting to me that he lived out of his van. It wasnt like he was forced to live that kind of pad life, he chose to. He hasnt profited like some climbers who ar more focused on how many sponsors they can obtain. Alex is an dream unlike any other. He doesnt believe that he is in any risky situation when he climbs. He doesnt push himself to the point of no return any; he just continues to climb for the fun of it and likes new challenges that he can conquer in a responsible way.
