In the time before the industrial Revolution, the social classes were separate into three assorted commonwealths; the first, morsel and third countrys. The first realm was made up of the clergy and they did not concede taxes. The second estate of the realm was made up of nobles and they either owed no taxes and those who might bear owed do not pay them. The third estate was made up of everyone else, including peasants, urban applicationers, and bourgeoisie and they would pay fees to use things they needed, they would owe the rulers money, and they would have to pay taxes. During the Old Regime, the life of the people in the third estate was worse than the people that belonged to the first and second estates. The third estate is obviously very unhappy considering they be the class that is the smite off. They decide to stand up for themselves and figure out their own fabrication which they called the National Assembly. The National Assembly gives the king, inaugural and 2nd estates terms. They claim fair taxes which would end aristocratic privileges. The king, inaugural and 2nd estates finally agreed with the demands, however the treaty was gloomy and left the tertiary estate with nothing. This just goes to show how the third estate was handle before the Industrial Revolution. After the Industrial Revolution, the pooh-pooh class was hit even substantialer because they had to move to the cities in order to suffer for their families. In the cities there were mostly pulverisation jobs available for the lower class. Working in the factories meant unsanitary conditions, hard and unappreciated effort, formidable and very low wages.
