The passing of the Constitution was a difficult task for Journalists. In or der to hold out the anti-federalists to agree in favor of the constitution, they created a write up called the federalist paper. The anti-federalists didnt want this constitution to be passed in fear that it would give too much power to the primordial political science and create an absolute monarchy. Although there were many arguments in favor of the constitution, the anti-federalists wanted nothing to do with it.
The anti-federalists dont want to become anything like Great Britain, but the federalist paper states that we shouldnt fear a strong central government because it is needed to protect individual liberty. It also goes on to verify that the constitution is needed to keep unity among the states, with this unity we fuel share in the common defense of our nation.
The federalists also speak of the House of Representatives and the senate.



Anti-federalist Melancton smith argued that the only right way to do the people is to have a lot of representatives for them. The federalist wanted the recite of representatives in the House of Representatives to have a certain amount.
