Diversity in Music
What is diversity? In a literal sense, I would define it as variety or to differ. In a practical sense, I think it is to non just tolerate people but to include them pull down if they are a different race, religion, or gender. You can eventide be the same race, age, and gender as someone and you go out still be diverse. Diversity isnt just restrain to all the traits listed above. Every one comes from a different terra firma and has his or her own stories and experiences. These can affect ones behavior and thoughts far more than just physical diversity. bingle area in American culture where diversity is popular is the music industry. Such modern slews as the Black eyeball Peas and even 60s bands my dad might have listened to such as Santana and the Jimi Hendrix Experience are also diverse.
A really best example of diversity is the popular music group, The Black look Peas. Their members: will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap are all different. Taboo is a Native American and Mexican while will.i.am is an African American. Also, Fergie is a white womanhood while apl.de.ap is Filipino and African American. Their music is a accurate metaphor for diversity. People of different races and genders come together and contribute great music appreciated not only if in America, but also worldwide.




Jimi Hendrix was an amazing African American singer, guitar player and songwriter. He was and still is most known for his rock stochastic variable of the The Star Spangled Banner that he preformed

at Woodstock. It affect almost everyone there and everyone who has heard it since then. In his band, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, he was the only African American. His background, like that of most musicians, greatly influenced his specific mien and abilities. Not to mention, the two white people in the band both were diverse.
